cedar trees consume an astonishing amount of water? A single mature cedar can gulp down up to 35 gallons a day, leaving your pasture dry and depriving your animals of vital resources.

These invasive trees cover a vast area, drastically reducing the usable land for your livestock. They grow rapidly, expanding several feet each year, encroaching on your pasture faster than expected.

Our cedar tree removal service restores your pasture to its former glory. Reclaim lost acreage and allow your animals to roam freely once again. By eliminating these trees, you regain precious grazing land and prevent further loss of income potential from reduced forage availability.

Don't let cedar trees dictate your pasture's fate! Contact us now for efficient and professional cedar tree removal. We specialize in safe and effective tree removal, giving your livestock the space they need to thrive.

Eastern red cedar (Juniperus virginiana) is considered invasive in Nebraska grasslands due to its aggressive nature in colonizing and dominating these ecosystems. Several factors contribute to its invasiveness:

  1. Fast Growth Rate: Eastern red cedars have a rapid growth rate, allowing them to out compete native grasses and other vegetation for resources like sunlight, water, and nutrients. They can grow up to 3 feet per year under favorable conditions.
  2. Adaptability: These trees are highly adaptable to various soil types and can thrive in a wide range of environmental conditions, making them particularly successful invaders in different ecosystems.
  3. High Water Usage: Eastern red cedars are known to consume significant amounts of water. Their extensive root systems can extract moisture from the soil, reducing water availability for other plants, especially in already arid or semi-arid regions like Nebraska.
  4. Lack of Natural Predators or Diseases: In their non-native environments, these trees often lack the natural predators or diseases that would typically keep their populations in check in their native habitat.
